| JUSTICE, LAW & SOCIETY SPEAKER SERIES |

Event Description Experts in the fields of law enforcement, intelligence, terrorism, forensic science and more are participating in a new speaker series sponsored by the Department of Justice, Law and Society.
Presentations are given at 11 a.m. on most Tuesdays in Eberly Hall, Room 110.
The purpose of the series is to promote student awareness of the interrelated and specialized careers within the areas of justice studies, sociology, anthropology, women's studies and leadership.
Many of the speakers are Cal U alumni, providing students with an outstanding opportunity to network and interact with successful graduates.
Admission is free, and the Cal U community and members of the public also may attend.
Nov. 6 Speaker:
A nine-year veteran of law enforcement, Darek W.
Eberhart is a parole agent for the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole and
has been assigned to its field supervision since 2007. He has worked with the
Fayette County Drug Task Force and the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Crime
Units, and he is currently assigned to a federal task force. He is an active
member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the International Tactical Officers
Training Association.
