Sports, Leadership, and Women: Movie Panel Discussion

Event Description
Using a montage of movie clips from popular movies dealing with women and sports such as “A League of their Own” and “Million Dollar Baby,” we will examine gender roles, issues of equality/inequality in sports, Title XI, and empowerment and leadership of women in sports.

Dr. Carol Biddington and Professor Beverly Ross will be on a panel to discuss these issues.

There will be a question/answer session as well as audience discussion to follow.

This event starts at 11 a.m. in Duda 210 on Tuesday, March 26.
