The world’s most famous tap-dancing penguin, Mumble, and the love of his life, Gloria now have a son of their own, Erik. Erik is struggling to find his own particular talents in the Emperor Penguin world. But new dangers are threatening the penguin nation, and it’s going to take everyone working- and dancing – together to save them.

This movie is playing in the Vulcan Theatre and is free for all students, faculty and staff.

2nd Annual Earth Sciences Networking Event
Students interested in pursing a career in Earth Sciences can participate in the 2nd Annual Earth Sciences Networking Event on Jan. 31 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. In the North Wing of the Convocation Center. At the event, students will have the opportunity to develop relationships with professionals within their discipline to gain guidance and support that will help them succeed in their careers.

More than 30 organizations will be represented this year including Range Resources, CONSOL Energy, Nemacolin Woodlands, The Wilds, Hatch Mott MacDonald, AGES Inc., PA DEP and Rettew, Inc. Representatives from Ohio, Ross and Hempfield Townships will attend the event, as well as the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department.

Day of Service
Cal U will honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with its annual Day of Service.

The Center for Civic Engagement is coordinating the event, which will take place from 11 a.m. -2:30 p.m. Jan. 31 in the Natali Student Center.

Inspiration for the Day of Service was a 2003 visit to Cal U by the late Coretta Scott King, wife of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. During her campus visit she asked that the day commemorating her husband be observed as “a day on, rather than a day off.”

Campus clubs and organizations are planning a variety of service-oriented activities.

Free Hot Chocolate
The Student Health Center will be handing out free hot chocolate to students in the Natali Student Center on Tuesday, Jan. 31 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. With the hot chocolate, "Good Night or Goodbye" cards containing information on alcohol poisoning will be given out. Additional pamphlets focusing on alcohol and alcohol poisoning will be available for students to take at their discretion.

UPS (Career Services)
UPS (United Parcel Service) will have an information table set-up today for job opportunities with the company.

Job info: $3,000 per year for education, weekly paycheck, starting pay at $8.50 per hour, fully paid medical and life insurance, paid vacations and holidays, and advancement opportunities.

Quaker Steak Wing Night
The SAB is sponsoring a trip to Quaker Steak & Lube on Tuesday, Jan. 31 for wing night.

For $10 dollars, Cal U students will receive a $15 gift card and bus transportation to Quaker Steak & Lube. The bus will leave from behind Natali at 4:30 p.m. and all students must take the provided transportation.

Talent Show Auditions
If you have a talent that you would like to showcase you should try out for the BSU's talent show in the Performance Center on Tuesday, Jan. 31 from 6:30 to 10 p.m.

All acts are welcome and hosts are needed. If you have the skill to be a host you should try out!

Talents can be a maximum of 10 minutes. Cash prizes will be given away to winners of the talent show, which will be held in March.
