Led by these experts in technology education, participating K-12 teachers and university faculty will learn how technology can: - Improve the student experience. - Increase the rigor and impact of academic programs. - Serve as a change agent in classrooms at all levels. The annual fundraiser has been reawakened with a new format and a call to “rise to the occasion and shine as a scholarship donor.” Since its inception in 1994, net proceeds from the gala have supported scholarships for deserving Cal U students. This year’s black-tie event has the same worthy goal but a fresh new look, with WTAE’s Andrew Stockey as emcee and music by Pittsburgh’s favorite doo-wop band, Pure Gold. Led by these experts in technology education, participating K-12 teachers and university faculty will learn how technology can: - Improve the student experience. - Increase the rigor and impact of academic programs. - Serve as a change agent in classrooms at all levels.
